  I get blood tests annually. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I am not scared of needle.
  
  Once the phlebotomist put the needle in it almost came piecing out the other side of my skin. It was very painful. The needle should have been pointing down, not up and back.
  
  I have bruises on my arms and this weird red circle around my elbow that appeared 3 days after the blood test. The marks on my arm appeared inches away from the place the needle went in. See the picture.
  
  My girlfriend who is an RN said the phlebotomist likely broke a valve and that is what the marks and pain are from.
  
  Also I am not sure if the phlebotomist was using sterile gloves.The phlebotomist walked out and called my name after she walked out her previous patient. I did not see her change gloves, I assume she wore the same ones for me as she did the last guy. Also before she removed the needle she put the gauze down on the surface of the chair, which I also assume was not sterile.
  
  Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location.
